Understanding the pricing and cost models of medical general practices.

We analysed patient enrolment, service use, and financial accounts for a group of general practices in Auckland. We developed a dashboard for practice managers to explore the implications of changes to the way services were delivered and changing patterns of patient enrolments, while our partners at Pacific Perspectives documented the models of care for these practices.

The results highlighted the implications of different patient recruitment strategies for these general practices. This information allowed these organisations to understand how best to target their recruitment of new patients.
